Bathroom Lighting Ideas

MID-CENTURY CHANDELIER

As a result of some brother architects, this apartment on Paris's Right Bank has a dark and moody aesthetic which upgrades classic French design for the 21st century. The master bath holds a 1950s American table a 1960s chandelier, and a Saarinen armchair. The market is clad in tiles the walls are of Italian marble, and the floor is tiled with gold-leafed-glass and marble mosaics.

TRADITIONAL SCONCES

The master bath's bathtub, sink, fixtures, and black limestone floors are all by Waterworks at this Upstate New York home. The sconces are by Vaughan, the kilim is from West Elm, and the artworks were bought in Paris and London.

DRIPPING CHANDELIER

Monique Lhuillier's bathroom in Bel Air showcases a custom-made lighting fixture by Foundry, white-oak cabinetry, and a photograph by George Hoyningen-Huene, go to website.

UNDERSTATED CEILING LIGHT

Understated lighting allure to the minimal aesthetic of this bathroom in a contemporary Washington, D.C. home made by Darryl Carter. The vanity hides drawers for storage.

LOW-HANGING LAMP

Designer Darryl Carter creates a master bath that is true for his Virginia farmhouse's origins by employing a simple lamp he designed for the Urban Electric Co., a sink vanity made from a walnut table, plus a slim mirror that sits in front of the chimney.
